With couples competing in all three styles – ballroom, latin and new vogue – Dancefit delivered championship wins in all three disciplines!
"We're very please with the result" said Dancefit Principle, Adam Stone. "By focusing on the basics our students have developed a solid foundation, and I think this is the reason for their confidence and performance in high pressure competitions."
Brother and sister couple, Molly & Cody Shaw of Freemans Reach won the Junior Level 1 New Vogue and Latin Championships, were placed 3rd in the Junior Level 2 New Vogue, and were finalists in the Junior Level 2 Ballroom Championship.
Jordy Leal and Chrissy Moore of Richmond won the Level 1 Ballroom Championship, were 2nd in the Latin Championship, and a finalist in the Junior Level 2 Ballroom Championship.
"You have to love dancing to be really good at it" said Jen Stone, Dancefit Principle. "..and you're only going to love it if you have fun. We create a very interactive and friendly atmosphere at our studio. Our students are more like family and it feels like we are just 'hanging out' and having fun – but it is this environment that inspires a love of dance and gives them the confidence, not only to compete, but in all aspect of their life."
